You will never fully understand Fast Spanish if you're not
familiar with what I call 'speedy speech.'
Have you heard that Spanish speakers don't say 'como
estas'? They say 'co-mo-e-tas.'
This phenomenon is known as 'connected speech,' and it can
pose challenges to your listening comprehension.
This often occurs when a word ends in a vowel and the next
word begins with 'h' or a vowel.
For example, 'mi amor' is pronounced as 'mia-mor' (My love)
or 'mi hogar' as 'mío-gar' (my home).
